Four female composers write for NEuE

A concert performance featuring readings from the novels Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter by Ali Smith, one of the most prominent authors of our time. Each year, the Scottish writer Smith produced a new novel addressing contemporary themes such as ecology, migration, Brexit, and more. NEuE has commissioned four female composers to create new ensemble works inspired by these novels. This unique blend of music and literature has been developed in collaboration with the National Theatre, The Hague.
